Life Lessons from Brilliant Detroit came together after Andy Gutman met 19 aspiring young authors affiliated with Brilliant Detroit. Together, they decided to highlight essential life lessons the children learned at an early age. Brilliant Detroit is a nonprofit establishing and operating home-based hubs in high-need neighborhoods to ensure families with children ages 0-8 have what they need to be school-ready, healthy and stable.
 
All proceeds from the sale of “Life Lessons from Brilliant Detroit” will go directly to Brilliant Detroit.
